My gas heater has not been used since last winter. Is it worth a look?
It is worth checking the fitting and the hose before it goes back on, particularly on an older bayonet point. That is a small job compared with what happens when a perished hose is put back into service.
Do I need to be home for gas work?
Usually, since the appliance needs testing before we leave and someone should see what has been done. If access has to be arranged another way, say so when you call and we will work it out.
